Ahhh...we have been so busy the past few weeks that the blog has gotten away from us! We survived Halloween and the end of soccer season, although barely, I forgot the last game. UGG. Mother of the year, I think not!
We have moved onto Tiger Scouts! Cooper's group has 3 scouts in it. They meet once a week after school. Each month all of the boys in grades 1-5 meet together to share accomplishments over the month.
Last weekend he and our neighbor delivered flyers to houses nearby asking for food donations for a local food pantry. On Saturday we went around and collected what people had left for us...despite the weather he was soooo excited. "Wow, look at all this food for the food pantry!"
The kids collected 630 something food items for people in our town that need a helping hand...quite an accomplishment!
Corm spent the last 2 weeks sick with what seemed to be a cold. I was home with him Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday but his fever never got over 102 and his nose has run off his face...it's since been recovered! He's in fine shape now and ready to go back to daycare Monday.
Hopefully our illness this season will be limited, positive thinking, right??!
